Traco would like to thank the Department of Energy for conducting the study by LBL, we fully support the performance based approach to the energy Star Criteria for Windows. Traco urges the Department of Energy to Adopt the performance trade off Criteria as shown in the study. the Trade off anaylsis proves a viable alturnative. We Thank you for organizing this analysis. This Study supports that with the current prescriptive requirements that there are products that can have equal performance based on TOTAL Energy Savings.
